A TYPICAL WEEK

On your day of arrival you will be met at Bologna airport by David. You can relax and enjoy the scenery whilst meeting your fellow guests.

To be honest there is no 'typical week'. Students get up when they want and paint or draw when they want.

On the first day Pheona will discuss what you want to learn, and perhaps start some art - from there you can both discuss how you want to spend your time and what you would like to learn. Some people want to paint from 7am - 10pm (with breaks!!) and others take a more relaxed view. Some people will be happy in the studio or garden and others will want to go out on field trips. It all depends on your experience and what you would like to learn. Sometimes you don't know what it is you would like to learn, but soon enough Pheona will find the 'missing link' that you need to improve your art work. Once we get to know you we can suggest other things you might like to do, or see and we can arrange excursions according to personal interests.

We have a relaxed lunch on the open sun deck during summer months.

Dinner is about 7.30pm. Either in our internal dining room (art gallery!) or in our new dining area outside (very romantic!) or, towards the end of the week, in a local restaurant (with character!)

Sometimes followed by a musical evening or games.

And on your day of travel home David will take you to the airport in good time for your flight home.
Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, wine and tours, art materials and tuition are all included in the price.
