BEGINNERS ART COURSES
LEARN HOW TO DRAW
Drawing is the foundation of all art work whether it be painting, pastels, sculpture or anything else. Learning how to 'see' and transfer what you see accurately on to paper can be taught. Very few people can never learn to draw! In the way that you are not born with the ability to drive a car without lessons, the same can be applied to art. You will learn the basic building blocks of drawing. Then once you have mastered the basics (day 1?) you can then move on to drawing using different techniques and using different mediums such as charcoal, conte, pen and so on.
You will also tackle different subject matter from flowers, to the local village, learn how to use a sketch book and so on. Lessons are in the morning and then in the afternoon you can consolidate what you learned either in and around the studio or on an excursion. At the end of the week you will definitely have mastered the first step in becoming an artist. Learning to see and to draw.
