Potraits. My first love is portraits. I use heightened colours with accurate drawing to create likenesses which I hope captures the essense of the person.
Landscapes
With landscapes I am inspired by the beautiful area I live in. It could be said that I exagerate the colours but these are the colours I 'feel' every day.
Figurative Paintings
You'll see with the figure paintings I am often searching for hidden colours in the skin, in the shadows.... I'm looking for something which makes my paintings not just photographic copies but which enhances the physical image and tries to say something more about the mood of the person at that time.
